Staying Relevant

Staying Relevant

Staying Relevant

Think about relevance like you would solving a problem. If you solve enough problems you will always be relevant. That’s what customers are after. In order to do that you need to be engaged with your customers and you must communicate in relevant ways. Content is the most valuable commodity that will keep you connected and engaged with customers and potential customers.

Are you using the right methods to connect with your audience?
Take a look at your audience and ask yourself if the methods you are using to connect with them are the right ones. For example, if your demographic is young adults ages 18-35, your number one way to connect should not be through traditional advertising techniques.

Are you keeping up with new trends in your industry?
By identifying trends as early as possible, you can adjust properly and adapt to continue to grow. You never want to become irrelevant in the marketplace.

Are you building strong relationships with your customers?
Word-of-mouth is the best form of advertising you can produce. The greatest way to gain word-of-mouth is by building relationships and adding value. Creating programs that build the relationship between you and your customers will encourage them to come back and incentivize them to trust you. Acquiring a new customer can cost five times more than retaining an existing customer. Give your customers a reason to come back; continue to offer the value that your competitors can’t.
